The 37th Day

Today was the trip to the Beijing Zoo, founded in 1906 and is the zoo which has the most animals in all of China. Flamingos, penguins, elephants, polar bears, you name it, they got it!

After transferring 3 subway lines - we finally made it, and the zoo was definetely a human zoo. Because of the National Holiday, they were about 15% more people than normal - I was pushed from every angle - I even had grown men pushing and shoving me out of the way to get a view of the pandas! Come on, what are we, 12?

If you are ever going to come to the Beiing Zoo ,make sure you set a whole day for it. If you want to view all the animals and experience it all, the zoo covers an area of 86 hectares so put on your walking shoes.
