The 46th Day

Well the week has been your typical school week, classes, tests, really bad meals at the cafeteria....dealing with an anorexic roomate....you know the usual. So Friday night, we decide to venture off into another district (gasp) and visit the CCTV Tower, one of the tallest buildings in the city (225 m) and have a BUFFET dinner in the revolving restautant! Well, I would not normally have been impressed by their buffet at all - but for China - it was good! When we first got there, there were tables of fruits, salads, and entrees. Great, we were planning to watch the sunset, so we took our time. BIG mistake. Half an hour later, all these HUGE Chinese families pour in, and fill up plates with food and leave it at their table. Um Ok, so there was basically nothing left but some really bad spaghetti and ice cream. It also didn't help that there were no replenishings of the food...... So I had 3 courses of the ice cream, it was the first time I had tried Brown and Pink ice cream (trust me these flavors were NOT chocolate and strawberry)... interesting taste!
